Job description

Responsibilities

Join an Infrastructure Services team supporting the enterprise network behind life-saving medical technology used worldwide to diagnose and treat serious cardiopulmonary and respiratory conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, test, and document LAN/WAN/network equipment and systems.
  • Monitor day-to-day network performance to ensure reliability and availability with minimal interruption.
  • Troubleshoot incidents, resolve tickets/work orders, and serve as an escalation point for network issues.
  • Implement firewall security settings and access permissions; support IPSEC/VPN/SSL connectivity.
  • Support network upgrades and expansions, including hardware/software installs, integration testing, and coordination.
  • Maintain network topology documentation, standards, and guidelines.
  • Partner with vendors and IT teams.
  • Provide occasional evening/weekend (off-hours) support.
  • Some travel may be required.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of network engineering experience.
  • Strong L2/L3 networking security design fundamentals with expert protocol knowledge.
  • Hands-on experience with IPSEC, VPN, and SSL.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications such as CCNA/CCNP/CCDP/CCIE/CISSP (or equivalent).
  • PaloAlto Networks firewall configuration/monitoring experience.
  • Cloud exposure in AWS and/or Azure.
  • Experience with monitoring tools.

Compensation and Benefits

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
