Requirements
Must have:
- Bachelors degree required
- Over 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
- Practical experience in querying databases (SQL Server)
- Extensive experience in:
- API testing (using Postman or similar tools)
- UI testing
- Requirements analysis and test design
- Test execution and defect management
- Atlassian JIRA
Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience in payments or financial services sectors
- Familiarity with secure payment systems or fraud/behavioral analytics tools
- Understanding of QA metrics and reporting
- Experience with qTest or comparable test management software
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate business and technical requirements to create effective testing strategies and test cases
- Create, execute, and maintain both manual and API test cases across various systems
- Conduct API testing utilizing tools like Postman or equivalent platforms
- Perform user interface (UI) testing to confirm end-user workflows and functionalities
- Identify, document, and oversee defects using tools such as JIRA
- Work collaboratively with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to address issues
- Assist in comprehensive testing efforts within secure payment and fraud detection systems
- Retrieve and validate data using SQL Server
- Contribute to the continual enhancement of QA processes and testing methodologies
