Senior Go Software Engineer

Responsibilities

Join a platform delivery team focused on creating backend microservices using Go. Collaborate closely with product owners, DevOps engineers, and business partners. Design, construct, test, and maintain scalable backend systems. Engage deeply with financial services sectors to promote system reliability and scalability. Participate in an engineering environment emphasizing modern technology and cloud-native development.

Requirements

Must have:

• Over 6 years of experience in professional software development
• More than 1 year in backend development utilizing Go/Golang
• Proven capability in building and supporting backend services within a live production setting
• Competence to complete a technical coding assessment successfully
• Experience in collaborating with diverse engineering and product teams
• Strong analytical skills and ability to deliver tasks independently

Nice-to-Have:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed systems
• Background in developing cloud-hosted applications (GCP, AWS, Azure)
• Knowledge of event-driven systems and asynchronous processing
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized solutions
• Exposure to CI/CD frameworks, infrastructure as code, and monitoring tools
• Experience with databases like Cloud Spanner or MongoDB Atlas
• Interest or experience in AI, machine learning, or large language models (LLMs)
• Strong ownership mentality from design to production support
