The Position

The Production Designer designs and produces print and digital assets while ensuring brand consistency, production readiness, and high-quality execution across all deliverables. This role manages print vendor relationships, including sourcing, negotiating quotes, overseeing production quality, and coordinating projects from concept through final production.

The Location

Hybrid, combining working from home and onsite in White River Junction, VT (3 days per week). Ideal candidates will be located within 120 miles of our offices.

The Pay

$54,900 to $74,200 annual salary; commensurate with experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design, produce, and prepare print-ready assets for a wide variety of channels including signage, packaging, event materials, print advertising, in-store displays, and other branded collateral.
  • Manage print production from concept through final delivery, including sourcing and coordinating with vendors, obtaining quotes, preparing files, reviewing proofs, and ensuring quality.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners including Brand Marketing, Retail, and external vendors.
  • Ensure exceptional attention to detail in typography, color, and layout.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects effectively.
  • Identify opportunities to improve and scale creative production workflows.
  • Prepare, route, track, and maintain production files through internal review and approval workflows.

Experience and Education

  • 3+ years of professional design experience in print production with a well-rounded portfolio.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) and project management tools (e.g., Asana).
  • Experience managing projects from start to finish, including vendor coordination.
  • Solid understanding of four-color and spot-color pre-press and printing standards.
  • Strong understanding of digital design best practices and user experience.
  • BA/BFA in Graphic Design, Digital Media, Visual Arts, or a related field is preferred.
