Senior Infrastructure Engineer/SRE

About the Role

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer/sre to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will partner with engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a technology-driven environment.

Location

Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation

$205,000 -- $270,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Build developer tools that enhance workflows and deployment
• Ensure the reliability of Kubernetes clusters across multiple clouds
• Implement metrics, logging, and alerting for performance and security
• Develop Infrastructure as Code deployment tooling for diverse cloud platforms
• Automate operations to focus on impactful engineering tasks
• Create machine learning infrastructure for training and deploying large datasets

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or related field
• Proficient in coding languages such as Golang or Python
• Strong knowledge of container security best practices
• Extensive production experience with Kubernetes and its ecosystem
• Familiarity with templating tools like Helm or Kustomize
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, such as Terraform or CloudFormation
• Experience with AWS services and other cloud providers
