Project Manager

Job Summary

Lead and coordinate end-to-end data center exit and consolidation projects, focusing on migrating legacy applications to AWS.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage project scope, schedule, and budget within the team.
• Partner with application teams, infrastructure, security, and cloud providers to plan and execute data center migration and modernization workstreams.
• Oversee application discovery, dependency mapping, migration planning, risk remediation, and technical/business cutover sequencing.
• Ensure cloud readiness and modernization alignment in collaboration with internal engineering and external vendors.
• Translate high-level data center/cloud strategies into actionable project plans, milestones, and measurable outcomes.
• Communicate project status, metrics, and schedules to stakeholders, managing risks and resolving bottlenecks.
• Foster teamwork, prioritization, and collaboration across cross-functional groups with competing priorities.
• Apply project management standards, processes, and controls for consistent delivery across multiple initiatives.
• Interact with technical and business stakeholders to drive alignment, negotiate, and resolve conflicts.
• Report to the Executive Director, Technology Alignment & Resilience, serving as a core partner for data center modernization.

Qualifications

• Requires 5 years experience managing complex technology projects, especially in infrastructure modernization or cloud migration (AWS preferred).
• Strong technical fluency, problem-solving, and analytical skills required.
• PMP or similar certification and financial services experience are pluses.
