About The Role
As a GSS Data Analyst, you will prepare data for the Business Reporting & Analytics (BR&A) team across multiple reporting areas. You will gather requirements from stakeholders and complete data transformations based on those requirements. You will report to the Manager, SQL & Data Manager and be located at our Cranberry Township, PA location. This role offers a hybrid work schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Build robust data pipelines to support the gathering and transformation of data for the BR&A and APX Project Management Office teams.
- Support the APX Project Management Office by meeting with stakeholders and developing analytical processes for Business Intelligence reporting.
- Develop advanced queries to provide valuable data insights for the business.
- Create and maintain data models efficiently, maximizing the use of our data and tools.
- Develop automated programs for extracting, transforming, and loading data.
- Assist in the administration of a central data lake for the BR&A team.
- Perform research and provide suggestions on technologies to enhance the overall productivity of the BR&A team.
- Protect the integrity of BR&A reporting data by continually monitoring for data cleanliness and quickly identifying and resolving issues.
Qualifications
- B.A., B.S., or equivalent business experience.
- 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of financial processes, controls, and associated improvement programs.
- Familiarity with systems and data quality processes.
- Knowledge of relational databases.
- Proficient in SQL, Python, R, Java, or any similar programming language.
- Background knowledge of Databricks.
- Proficiency in Power Platform (Power Automate, Power BI, Power Query).
The estimated base salary range for this position is $64,800 - $81,000 per year, dependent upon experience, qualifications, and skills.
