About the Role

A company in the technology and e-commerce space is seeking a Legal Operations Specialist to support its in-house legal team on a contract basis. This is a ~3.5-month engagement offering the opportunity to step into a dynamic legal operations function and support a wide range of workflows.

  • Location: Hybrid (2 days/week SF office)
  • Hours: 30 Hours / Week
  • Duration: (approximately) May 18, 2026 -- September 7, 2026
  • Pay: $70/hour - $90/hour

What You'll Do

  • Triage and manage contract workflows in Ironclad and ZIP, supporting internal stakeholders and resolving workflow issues
  • Monitor Slack channels and provide real-time support for legal and contract-related requests
  • Build and manage workflows in Slack and Jira to support legal team projects and task tracking
  • Manage eBilling operations in Brightflag, including accruals, invoice review, and law firm engagement tracking
  • Triage and manage incoming legal requests, including subpoenas, liens, levies, and other third-party demands

What You Bring

  • 4+ years of legal operations experience in an in-house or similar environment
  • Hands-on experience with CLM tools, particularly Ironclad and/or ZIP
  • Proficiency using Slack and Jira for workflow and project management
  • Experience with legal billing platforms, preferably Brightflag, including accruals and invoice review
  • Familiarity with legal request processes, including handling subpoenas, liens, and levies
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
