Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Audit/Assurance Manager with a strong background in Nonprofit Audits, Government Audits, and Single Audits to lead complex engagements, manage client relationships, and mentor audit professionals across the country.

This leadership role offers significant visibility within the firm and a clear path toward future partnership opportunities for individuals interested in helping drive firm growth and practice development.

What You'll Do

• Lead nonprofit, governmental, and Single Audit engagements from planning through issuance
• Manage audits for nonprofit organizations, municipalities, governmental agencies, housing authorities, and federally funded programs
• Ensure compliance with Uniform Guidance (2 CFR 200), Government Auditing Standards (Yellow Book), GAAP, and GAAS
• Review financial statements, SEFAs, compliance reports, and related audit deliverables
• Supervise, mentor, and develop remote audit teams
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients regarding grant compliance, internal controls, and regulatory reporting requirements
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Collaborate with firm leadership on practice growth initiatives and strategic planning
• Identify opportunities to improve audit efficiency and enhance client service

Your Background

• Active CPA license required
• 6 years of public accounting audit experience
• Strong experience leading Single Audit engagements
• Experience serving nonprofit organizations and/or governmental entities
• Deep knowledge of:
  • Uniform Guidance (2 CFR 200)
  • Government Auditing Standards (Yellow Book)
  • GAAP and GAAS
• Proven experience managing engagements and leading audit teams
• Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills
• Comfortable working within a fully remote environment
• Experience utilizing modern cloud-based audit technologies
