Salary: $200,000 -- $300,000+ (Based on experience)

About the Role
As a Senior Tax Manager or Tax Director -- Estate & Trust Focus, you will take the lead in client engagements centered around estate, trust, and gift tax planning and compliance. You'll work directly with ultra-high-net-worth individuals, fiduciaries, attorneys, and family offices to navigate complex wealth transfer and estate strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of estate, trust, and gift tax clients
- Oversee preparation and review of Forms 1041, 706, 709, and related filings
- Provide strategic guidance on estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax planning
- Collaborate with attorneys, wealth advisors, and trustees on client matters
- Monitor and interpret tax law changes impacting estates and trusts
- Mentor and lead a team of specialized tax professionals
- Build trusted, long-term relationships with clients based on value and expertise---not hours billed
Qualifications
- CPA required; MST, JD, or LLM is a plus
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in public accounting or a private tax advisory role with a focus on estate, gift, and fiduciary income taxation
- Strong technical knowledge of estate and trust tax rules and planning techniques
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a remote-first, collaborative environment
