Entry-Level Accounting Specialist (AP/AR)
Location: Century City, CA (Hybrid Schedule)
Pay: $24--$27/hour, depending on experience

Position Overview
A growing entertainment company in Century City is seeking an Entry-Level Accounting Specialist to join its finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career accounting professional looking to gain hands-on experience in both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable within a dynamic and collaborative environment.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and up to three years of accounting experience. This role offers exposure to various accounting functions, opportunities for professional growth, and a flexible hybrid work schedule.
Responsibilities
- Process vendor invoices and assist with accounts payable functions
- Prepare and issue customer invoices and support accounts receivable activities
- Apply cash receipts and maintain accurate payment records
- Reconcile vendor statements and customer accounts
- Research and resolve invoice, payment, and billing discrepancies
- Assist with month-end close activities, account reconciliations, and journal entries
- Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation
- Support audits and special accounting projects as needed
- Communicate professionally with internal departments, vendors, and customers
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required
- 0--3 years of accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or related experience
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data organization
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Eagerness to learn and grow within an accounting career
Preferred Qualifications
- Internship experience in accounting or finance
- Experience with accounting software or ERP systems
- Exposure to month-end close processes
