A nonprofit organization based in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a detail-oriented Contracts Administration Specialist to support its contracts function on a 6-weeklong temporary basis. This role focuses on managing government and funding agreements with federal, state, county, and city entities, as well as subcontractors supporting critical community services. This is a fully remote, full-time position.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, prepare, process, and track contracts and amendments with funders and subcontractors
- Review incoming contracts and grants, outlining scope, budget, and compliance requirements
- Support agreements and MOUs related to funded services, ensuring accurate Statements of Work and budgets
- Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders on contract execution and compliance
- Track and report on contract metrics and portfolio activity
- Perform data quality reviews and maintain accurate contract records
- Research applicable federal, state, and local regulations impacting funding agreements
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of experience in contracts administration, preferably within government or nonprofit settings
- Experience working with government funding agreements, grants, or service-based contracts
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to analyze contract terms and ensure regulatory compliance
