Type: 4-month contract (extension possible based on business needs)

Work setup: Fully remote (Eastern Time preferred; other U.S. time zones considered)

Pay Rate: $40-50/per hour based on experience

Overview

We're partnering with an in-house organization that needs an experienced Contracts Manager to jump in quickly and support a steady flow of vendor and supplier agreements. This role is ideal for someone who can independently manage negotiations, align internal reviewers, and keep contracting timelines on track in a high-volume environment.

What you'll be doing

  • Own vendor contract requests from initial request through execution, including revisions along the way
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a range of commercial agreements tied to supplier relationships
  • Translate business needs into clear contract language and confirm scope, deliverables, and obligations
  • Coordinate review cycles with cross-functional partners (e.g., legal counsel and risk reviewers such as security and privacy)
  • Prepare and manage add-ons such as amendments, renewals, and related documentation
  • Maintain clean, accurate records and ensure documents are properly stored in the contract/procurement system

Agreements you'll support

  • Master services frameworks and corresponding work authorizations
  • Consulting and professional services engagements
  • Technology deals (including subscription software / hosted solutions)
  • Order documents and ongoing change documents (e.g., amendments)

What we're looking for

  • 5--7 years of hands-on commercial contracting experience (procurement/vendor agreements strongly preferred)
  • Strong redline and negotiation skills across common commercial terms and risk areas
  • Proven ability to manage multiple matters at once while meeting deadlines
  • Comfort partnering with legal and risk stakeholders to drive approvals efficiently
  • Clear, practical communicator who can work directly with business owners and suppliers
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience
