Position Overview
The Procurement Analyst will support sourcing strategies, vendor management, and procurement operations across a variety of business functions. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional (1–3 years of experience) looking to grow in a collaborative, fast-paced environment while gaining exposure to strategic procurement initiatives.

- Pay Rate: $33.00 - $35/hr
- Duration: 6–9 month contract

Key Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end indirect procurement activities, including supplier sourcing, bidding (RFP/RFI/RFQ), contract review, and onboarding.
- Analyze spend data, supplier performance, and market trends to identify cost savings and process improvement opportunities.
- Partner with internal stakeholders (Operations, Legal, Finance) to gather requirements and align procurement strategies.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and supplier data across systems (Zip, ERP tools).
- Assist in execution of competitive sourcing events and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Monitor and resolve procurement-related issues, escalating risks as needed.
- Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives, including use of AI and data tools.
- Support reporting, data analysis, and project-based procurement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain (early-career level; not entry-level/new grad).
- Exposure to indirect (non-inventory) procurement strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with spreadsheets, supplier data, and spend analysis.
- Experience supporting RFP/RFI/RFQ processes or vendor sourcing activities.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets / Excel.
- Strong communication skills with ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, project-based environment.
- Experience in manufacturing or distribution environments.
- Familiarity with procurement or ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Experience with Zip (procure-to-intake platform).
- Exposure to operations or facilities procurement categories.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled tools or automation in procurement.
