Program Manager Non-Tech 5
Location: Boydton, VA (Hybrid)
Pay Range: $80 - $90/hr
We are seeking a Program Manager Non-Tech 5 to join a leading client in Boydton, VA. This is a hybrid role with onsite requirements.
Key Requirements:
- Utility experience
- Project management experience with substation and transmission line projects
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Must be able to align to required core hours to support the teams day-to-day operations
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support project or program management workstreams within cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with construction projects or processes, including engaging in discussions with construction partners. (Coordination with construction teams is helpful, but the role is not construction-heavy).
- Experience working with or supporting data center-related teams (e.g., coordination, delivery, or operational support).
- Ability to work Eastern Time (ET) or Central Time (CT) core hours with minimal time zone impact.
- Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills in a fully remote working environment.
- Must possess utility experience.
- Experience coordinating with construction teams is preferred.
- General familiarity with construction projects or processes is needed to support effective discussions and stakeholder alignment.
- The Project Manager identified will serve as the Single Point of Contact for the Utility Service Provider, responsible for all utility scoping, transmission, distribution, and substations as identified in the agreement(s).
- Facilitate regular design & site progress meetings at least once per week with the Energy Team, DCD, DCE, and AHJ (can be by teleconference).
