Position Overview
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Project Support Specialist to assist with provider data and outreach initiatives. This fully remote contract opportunity is ideal for professionals with strong administrative, customer service, or healthcare support experience who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy research, communication, and data accuracy.
Contract | Fully Remote
Pay: $21--$23/hour
Key Responsibilities
- Research provider and office information to identify opportunities for data updates and improvements.
- Contact provider offices via phone and email to verify provider and staff language capabilities.
- Gather and validate information needed to support provider directory updates.
- Document outreach efforts, research findings, and update requests within internal systems.
- Maintain accurate records and project tracking logs to ensure all activities are properly documented.
- Submit provider data updates through established internal processes.
- Conduct follow-up outreach and correspondence in accordance with project timelines.
- Identify and escalate provider demographic discrepancies discovered during research and outreach efforts.
- Partner with internal teams to ensure validated information is communicated and processed appropriately.
- Monitor assigned workload to meet productivity goals, quality standards, and project deadlines.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to HIPAA and company policies.
- Participate in training sessions, team meetings, and quality assurance activities as needed.

Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in administrative support, healthcare operations, provider services, customer service, credentialing, provider data management, or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to research, analyze, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Capable of managing multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision.
