Job description

At Limble, we empower the unsung heroes who support the world. We're revolutionizing the way businesses manage their maintenance operations by providing a comprehensive suite of software solutions that empower organizations to optimize asset performance and drive operational excellence. From preventive maintenance to inventory management and beyond, our robust CMMS platform offers a suite of features designed to streamline operations and enhance productivity.

About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our mobile team. You'll work on a React Native + Expo application used daily by field technicians to manage work orders, assets, and maintenance operations. This is primarily a feature development role — you'll spend most of your time building new capabilities alongside a tight-knit team of engineers, a product manager, and a designer.

You'll be a key technical voice on the team, raising the quality bar through thoughtful code reviews, mentoring less experienced engineers, and contributing to technical decisions from discovery through delivery.

How you'll make an impact

  • Design, build, and ship high-quality mobile features end-to-end
  • Collaborate closely with the PM and designer during feature discovery and scoping — you're an engineering partner, not a ticket-taker
  • Conduct thorough, constructive code reviews that prioritize correctness, quality, and knowledge sharing
  • Mentor SE II engineers informally through pairing, code review feedback, and being a reliable go-to technical resource
  • Take full ownership of problems and see them through to completion without needing to be directed

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript
  • 4-6 years of professional software engineering experience
  • Demonstrated ability to own and ship features independently
  • High ownership mentality — you notice problems and solve them proactively
  • Strong async written communication skills
  • An eye for quality, user experience, and design — you care when something feels off, not just when the code is wrong
  • Comfortable collaborating directly with product managers and designers

Preferred

  • Experience building mobile applications (iOS and/or Android)
  • React Native experience
  • Familiarity with React Query or similar async data-fetching and state management patterns
  • Experience with offline-first or local-first application architecture
  • Proficiency with AI-driven development tools

Benefits

  • Fully remote position
  • Flexible PTO
  • 13 paid company holidays
  • Paid parental leave
  • Health, Dental, and Vision insurance
  • Employer paid Basic Life insurance and Short-Term Disability insurance
  • Company contribution match for HSA and 401(k)
  • Flexible Spending Accounts
  • Monthly employee wellness stipend
  • Opportunities for Learning and Development Reimbursement
  • Pet insurance
