Job Summary
The People Development & Learning (PDL) team is dedicated to growing people to grow the business. As an Assistant Manager, Activator on this team, you will be instrumental in L'Oréal's commitment to providing development and learning opportunities that equip employees with future-ready skills in a changing world.
What You'll Do
As an Activator, you will manage and execute learning programs, provide administrative and budget support, and drive HR & learner engagement. Your goal is to foster a learning ecosystem that enhances LUSA employees' skills and capabilities, supporting both professional development and business growth.
Key Job Accountabilities
Program & Project Management
- Oversee the logistics for online and offline learning programs (12-500 participants), including calendar planning, event management, and securing necessary platforms or venues.
- Utilize Asana for project management, ensuring key program milestones and project timelines are met.
- Support ongoing vendor relationships.
Administrative & Budget Support
- Assist in maintaining the Corporate PDL budget, including creating purchase orders, tracking costs, and supporting overall budget administration.
- Coordinate the LeadCom meeting cadence and key PDL events, such as offsites and strategy sessions.
HR & Learner Engagement
- Draft employee-facing communications and deploy them through established PDL Excellence Practice channels.
- Collaborate with the BEST team on participant engagement plans and communicate directly with employees to drive enrollment, share program details, and address inquiries.
- Create and oversee post-program surveys and generate recaps for the broader team and HR community.
Expertise & Experience
- Undergraduate degree required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a large, complex organization, preferably in HR/Learning or PR/Events.
- Verbal and Written Communication: Ability to communicate messages in an engaging and inspiring manner (Skills: Storytelling).
- Project Management Expertise: Ability to set goals, manage multiple simultaneous projects, and execute with excellence (Skills: Prioritization, Activation Excellence).
- Customer Service: Employee-centric approach, building and maintaining effective relationships with employees and HR counterparts (Skills: Stakeholder Management, Adapted Communication).
- Collaboration: Ability to engage cross-functional partners and collaborate with Learning team members to share best practices and ensure high-quality program delivery (Skills: Influencing, Cooperation, Self-Awareness).
- Technical Aptitude: Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables) required. Proficiency in Success Factors tools is preferred (Skills: HR Tools & Process).

Salary Range: $84,500 - $120,400 (actual compensation varies based on factors like location, experience, education, and skill level).
