What You'll Work On
- Partner with cross-functional teams to understand business goals and translate them into predictive models and data-driven solutions.
- Build forward-looking predictive models — including demand forecasting, inventory pre-positioning, and health/trend monitoring (HTMS) analytics.
- Develop statistical and machine learning models, including approaches that leverage sensor/telemetry data to anticipate maintenance needs before issues arise.
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover trends, correlations, and leading indicators that inform predictive models.
- Collaborate on data preparation, wrangling, and transformation to ensure accuracy and integrity of model inputs and outputs.
- Establish best practices for modeling, validation, and presenting analytical findings to a diverse audience.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a Data Scientist or similar role, with hands-on experience building statistical or machine learning models.
- Strong background in statistics and predictive analytics — e.g., time-series forecasting, regression, classification, or anomaly detection.
- Experience with statistical model development and deployment is required.
- Hands-on experience with SQL for data extraction and manipulation, and Python (e.g., scikit-learn, statsmodels, pandas) for modeling.
- Familiarity with data storytelling and the ability to present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with sensor/telemetry/IoT data is a plus, particularly in aerospace, manufacturing, or industrial maintenance contexts.

Salary
Salary range: $80,000 - $130,000 annually, with final compensation determined by your qualifications, expertise, experience, and the role's scope.
Location
This is a fully remote position; however, candidates must be based in regions that align with the Pacific, Central, or Eastern U.S. time zones to ensure effective collaboration with client and team schedules. Occasional travel to Georgia will be required.

Position Details
This is a full-time position requiring a minimum of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
