About the Client

Our client is a fast-growing, US-based DTC beauty brand focused on smarter styling solutions for fine and thinning hair. They sell online and invest heavily in social commerce, creator partnerships, and affiliate programs to reach and educate customers. The team is collaborative, data-informed, and committed to scaling creator-led growth across TikTok Shop, Amazon, and emerging platforms.

Why does this role exist?

As the brand scales creator, affiliate, and social commerce programs, the team needs dedicated operational support to manage high-volume creator communications, sampling workflows, and content tracking with speed and accuracy. This role ensures inboxes are responsive, samples are processed and followed through to content, and trackers provide clear visibility into status, deliverables, and usage rights. By handling day-to-day execution, the assistant enables senior team members to focus on strategy and program expansion.

The Impact you'll make

Creator and Affiliate Communications

• Monitor and respond to creator/affiliate inboxes across TikTok Shop, Discord, and other platforms
• Coordinate outreach and follow-ups to keep conversations warm and moving
• Represent the brand professionally with clear, timely, and accurate written communication

Sampling and Product Seeding Operations

• Review and process incoming sample requests; confirm details and eligibility
• Coordinate shipments and maintain status updates; follow up on content deliverables
• Support Amazon Creator Connections and other sampling/affiliate initiatives as directed

Tracking, Reporting, and Asset Governance

• Maintain organized Google Sheets trackers for samples, outreach, creator status, deadlines, and campaign progress
• Track content submissions, usage permissions, and ownership/usage windows
• Keep internal stakeholders updated with clean, current data and simple status summaries

Content and Community Support

• Engage with creator/affiliate content (like, comment, answer basic product questions) to boost visibility
• Assist with basic uploads/coordination for creator videos, organic content, or paid media assets (as trained)
• Help organize creator content and assets within Google Drive

Process, Documentation, and Light Site/Creative Tasks

• Build/update SOPs for repeatable workflows (sampling, outreach, tracking)
• Assist with light landing page or content updates using templates/AI tools and internal direction
• Perform ad hoc administrative tasks that keep campaigns running smoothly

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Required:

• Direct, hands-on TikTok Shop experience (creator/affiliate/social commerce operations)
• Experience managing creator/affiliate communications, outreach, and inboxes
• Strong Google Sheets skills and comfort maintaining detailed trackers
• Excellent written English and professional, brand-safe communication
• Highly proactive, responsive, and able to manage multiple moving pieces while following SOPs

Your superpowers are...

• Technical: TikTok Shop; familiarity with TikTok/Instagram/YouTube/Discord workflows; Google Sheets/Drive; comfort learning new tools quickly
• Nice-to-haves: Amazon Creator Connections, YouTube Shopping, ShopMy, LTK, Levanta, Meta Ads upload workflows; Motion, Asana, Notion, Monday.com; basic Canva/landing page updates; AI-assisted content updates
• Soft skills: organization, extreme attention to detail, fast learner, strong follow-through, crisp written communication, calm under volume, collaborative and resourceful

WFH Set-Up

• Computer with at least 8GB RAM, an Intel i5 core processor/AMD Ryzen 5 Processor and up.
• Internet speed of at least 40MBPS
• Headset with an extended mic that has noise cancellation and a webcam
• Back-up computer and internet connection
• Quiet, dedicated workspace at home

Work Setup

• Remote position
• Must have a reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace

Working Hours

• 40 hours per week
• Monday--Friday, 9:00 am--5:00 pm PST

Compensation

• $7 per hour
• No benefits package included
