Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Help Desk Support Analyst to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess 1-3 years of experience troubleshooting both hardware and software applications.
Job Details
Location: Pittsburgh, PA Pay Range: $17/hour
Schedule & Flexibility
Candidates will begin with a Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm training schedule for 4-6 weeks. Post-training, flexibility is required to work any shift based on business needs and staffing changes. While efforts are made to maintain consistent shifts, schedule adjustments may occur for both FTE and contract employees.
Core Service Desk hours are 6am-1am Monday-Saturday and 8am-7pm on Sunday. Shifts will vary within these core hours, potentially including Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday work weeks. Remote and hybrid models are available based on shift times.
- Early Shifts (starting before 11am): Onsite Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays; remote other days.
- Late Shifts (starting 11am or after): Fully remote.
Local candidates are preferred due to onsite training and support requirements.
Qualifications
An Associate's degree is strongly recommended. Candidates with significant experience in tech support will also be considered, including experience with:
Technical Skills
- Desktop/Client Support: Windows desktop/laptop, MacBook, server, imaging services.
- Retail Support: Registers, pin pads, handheld PDT devices.
- Basic User & Application Support: Password resets (Active Directory), multi-factor authentication, VPN connectivity.
Soft Skills
- Strong Customer Service Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, ability to de-escalate situations, and maintain professionalism under pressure.
Experience Requirements
- Proven experience using ticketing systems.
- Experience writing technical support reports and documentation.
- Broad knowledge and proficiency with popular operating systems, application software, desktop/laptop computers, printers, and networks.
