  • Scrum certification or prior Agile delivery experience.

Job Description

We are building a lean MVP talent network platform using small, cross-functional squads. We are looking for a Scrum Master to help keep squads organized, on schedule, unblocked, and moving steadily toward release.

This role is focused on managing Scrum processes, coordinating meeting cadence, supporting delivery timelines, tracking blockers, and helping ensure code moves through development, staging, QA, and release in a timely manner.

You will work closely with Product Managers, Project Managers, engineers, QA, and other stakeholders to support efficient execution across squads without creating unnecessary process overhead.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Scrum processes across squads to support consistent execution and timely delivery.
  • Facilitate standups, sprint planning, squad check-ins, status meetings, and other agile ceremonies as needed.
  • Keep squads aligned on priorities, timelines, blockers, dependencies, and next steps.
  • Track delivery schedules and help ensure work is progressing on time across development, staging, QA, and release.
  • Monitor for stalled tasks, blocked tickets, delayed handoffs, unresolved dependencies, or gaps in follow-through.
  • Escalate blockers, delivery risks, and process issues quickly to the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Partner with Product Managers and Project Managers to maintain strong sprint rhythm, delivery visibility, and release readiness.
  • Help ensure completed work does not sit too long between code completion, QA, staging, and production release.
  • Coordinate follow-up across squads so action items, blockers, and dependencies are actually resolved.
  • Support lightweight, effective agile execution that keeps teams moving without unnecessary ceremony.
  • Help improve release discipline, meeting effectiveness, delivery visibility, and overall squad accountability.
  • Remove coordination and process friction so teams can stay focused on execution.

Requirements

  • Experience working in Agile, Scrum, or Kanban software delivery environments.
  • Strong understanding of sprint execution, blocker management, release coordination, and delivery tracking.
  • Experience facilitating agile ceremonies and keeping cross-functional teams organized and accountable.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple moving parts across squads.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence coordinating with Product Managers, Project Managers, engineers, and QA.
  • Experience using Jira or similar tools for workflow tracking, sprint management, and reporting.
  • Ability to identify risks early and keep delivery moving without overcomplicating process.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving, MVP-oriented environment.
  • Master's student or graduate in Project Management, Engineering Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
  • Unpaid internship role, 10--20 hours per week, flexible.

Success Metrics

  • Squads maintain steady sprint progress and timely follow-through.
  • Blockers and stalled tasks are surfaced and addressed quickly.
  • Work moves through development, staging, QA, and release without unnecessary delays.
  • Meetings are productive, organized, and help drive execution.
  • Release cadence remains consistent across squads.
  • Leadership has clear visibility into delivery risks, timeline issues, and squad health.
