Job Summary
The Senior Director, Revenue & Technology Portfolio Enablement facilitates connecting strategy, investment, prioritization, and execution among business functions within the Revenue & Technology organization. This leader creates and maintains a single, decision-ready view of priorities, dependencies, and performance, and facilitates the rhythms and tradeoffs needed to deliver measurable value.
Reporting to the Managing Vice President, Portfolio Planning & Product Delivery, this leader partners with Revenue & Technology leaders, Global Technology, Finance, and other stakeholders to evolve portfolio planning and decision support practices. In addition, the role facilitates the ongoing development of the Revenue & Technology Long Range Plan (LRP).
Candidate Profile
Education & Experience
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or related area or equivalent work experience, education, training, or certifications.
- 10 years of experience in strategy, portfolio/program management, enterprise planning, transformation, or related leadership roles in large, matrixed organizations.
- Demonstrated success influencing senior leaders and driving decisions without formal authority; exceptional executive communication and facilitation skills.
- Strong portfolio management capabilities: translating strategy into outcomes, building transparent roadmaps/milestones, and surfacing dependencies, risks, and constraints early.
- Working knowledge of planning and delivery tools and data (e.g., Amplify, dashboards, portfolio trackers) to improve transparency and enable value realization.
Preferred:
- Experience partnering with Finance and technology leaders on multi-year investment planning (LRP) and on translating investment into outcomes and measurable value.
- Familiarity with enterprise governance and planning rhythms (EPP, QBRs, quarterly planning) and strong cross-functional coordination across business, technology, digital, and data teams.
Core Work Activities
Portfolio Decision Enablement & Transparency
- Lead the quarterly Revenue & Technology portfolio review and prioritization cadence—creating an integrated view that feeds enterprise forums and supports executive decision-making.
- Maintain a consolidated view of top outcomes, in-flight initiatives, and material milestones; proactively surface cross-team dependencies, constraints, and delivery risks.
- Prepare decision briefs and facilitate tradeoff conversations as priorities shift (scope, sequencing, capacity, and investment), enabling executives to make timely, transparent choices.
Strategy, Planning & Delivery Integration
- Partner with leaders to validate annual outcomes, ensure initiative scope and ownership clarity, and align delivery plans to measurable value (not activity).
- Coordinate with Product Operating Model activation and EPP to ensure Revenue & Technology portfolio inputs are complete, consistent, and decision-ready—without duplicating enterprise planning governance.
- Enable efficient portfolio reporting (e.g., Amplify and related artifacts) by defining standards and minimizing administrative burden while improving transparency.
Long Range Plan (LRP) Refinement & Investment Transparency
- Lead the LRP refinement process for Revenue & Technology: validate assumptions, consolidate inputs, and pressure-test tradeoffs ahead of executive strategic planning cycles.
- Produce clear, executive-ready views of portfolio investments and constraints (base vs initiative funding, dependencies, risks) to enable decisions on Revenue & Technology investment choices through 2030.
