About the Role

Maximus is seeking an Operations Support Coordinator to join our team and support the New York State Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD). OPWDD plays a crucial role in coordinating services for over 128,000 New Yorkers with developmental disabilities. This is a full-time, fully remote position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct outreach to obtain pertinent consumer information and identify parties to receive notification of impending assessment appointments.
  • Perform timely outreach and meet productivity targets for scheduling assessment appointments, documenting all outreach activities for tracking and reporting.
  • Assist in coordinating last-minute scheduling changes to ensure assessment appointments are completed and promptly communicate updates to appropriate parties.
  • Provide administrative support to Operations Support Management staff.

Minimum Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 0-2 years of experience in a customer service environment.

Preferred Requirements

  • Some college coursework.
  • Prior call center experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in community outreach or working with individuals with developmental disabilities.

Home Office Requirements

  • Maximus provides company-issued computer equipment.
  • Reliable high-speed internet service:
    • Minimum 20 Mbps download speed (50 Mbps if sharing connection).
    • Minimum 5 Mbps upload speed.

Salary Range: $18.50 - $22.00 per hour
