We are seeking a Product Engineer I to join our AiBLE Clinic Team within Cranial and Spinal Technologies (CST). In the CST Operating Unit, we partner closely with our customers to transform spine and cranial surgery from an art into a science. By combining advanced technologies with a patient-centered approach, we aim to improve outcomes, enhance efficiency, and elevate quality of life for millions worldwide.

We are seeking a committed professional to join our team. This role also involves 0-25% of travel, presenting opportunities for broader engagement.

As an AiBLE Clinic Engineer I, you will deliver clinical, technical, and sales support to surgeons, hospital staff, and sales representatives, helping design patient-specific implants and drive post-operative data analytics. This role offers a unique opportunity to serve as a key technical liaison between Medtronic and the medical community. You will operate in a highly collaborative environment and handle sensitive information with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Utilize proprietary software to:
    • Perform clinical X-ray measurements
    • Simulate surgical corrections based on the surgeon's case plan and preferences
    • Design patient-specific implants aligned with planned corrections
    • Deliver real-time measurement and planning support for high-volume sites
    • Collect post-operative data and develop detailed outcome analyses
  • Review and discuss surgical plans with surgeons and their teams
  • Partner with hospital staff and sales representatives to coordinate and manage cases
  • Provide technical support in the operating room, as needed

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Biology or Biotechnology with minimum of 0 years of experience, OR

Nice to Have: Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering
  • Prior experience in spine or related clinical applications preferred
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Self-motivated, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent analytical thinking and attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and apply complex concepts

Medtronic offers a competitive Salary and flexible Benefits Package.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD): $68,800.00 - $103,200.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
