Land-Based Purser / Accounts Manager (Part-Time, Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced land-based Purser / Accountant to join a small but growing yacht management company in a part-time, accounting role.

This is a fully remote position, ideally suited to someone US-based, although UK candidates will also be considered.

The Role:

Working closely with the yacht management team, you will support the day-to-day financial operations across the fleet, ensuring accounts are accurate, organised, and up to date.

Key Responsibilities:

To support the vessel manager with the following:

• Manage and oversee yacht accounts across the fleet
• Process invoices, reconcile accounts, and maintain accurate financial records
• Support budget tracking and reporting for yacht managers and owners
• Liaise with captains, crew, and suppliers on financial matters
• Assist with financial administration and reporting processes

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Purser or in yacht accounting (essential)
• Strong financial and administrative skills
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple accounts
• Self-sufficient and comfortable working remotely
• Experience with yacht management systems (e.g. Deep Blue) is advantageous
