About the Role
Mercer is seeking a talented Health Partner to join our Health & Benefits Consulting team in Boston. This is a hybrid role requiring at least three days a week in the office.
Key Responsibilities
As a Health Partner, you will:
- Lead complex client engagements and develop sophisticated benefits design and renewal strategies.
- Drive the development of innovative tools and solutions to address complex client challenges.
- Monitor project success, ensuring scope, budget, timeliness, and client satisfaction.
- Manage revenue and profitability for client accounts and projects.
- Set strategic direction and create demand for new products and services.
- Lead successful regional or national marketing initiatives.
- Build market presence by presenting at industry seminars and conferences.
- Leverage Mercer's scale to negotiate competitive rates and coverage options with carriers and vendors.
Qualifications
What you need to have:
- Proven track record in initiating new opportunities and winning new business in health and benefits consulting.
- Strong expertise in benefits design, renewal strategies, and client engagement management.
- Experience managing project scope, budget, and client satisfaction.
- Ability to lead strategic marketing initiatives and build market presence.

Marsh embraces hybrid work, balancing remote flexibility with the benefits of in-office collaboration, connection, and professional development. All colleagues are expected to be in the office or onsite with clients at least three days per week, with at least one designated "anchor day" for in-person team collaboration.
Compensation and Benefits
The applicable base salary range for this role is $212,000 to $318,000.
The final base pay will be determined by factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis. This position may also be eligible for performance-based incentives.
