  • Type: Contract
  • Compensation: $100/hour
  • Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

  • Manage and complete healthcare administrative workflows using Availity Essentials and other payer portal applications.
  • Verify active coverage and determine patient cost-shares, including copays and deductibles.
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of claims, from submission to resolution of rejections or denials.
  • Handle end-to-end prior authorization processes, including tracking approvals within Payer Spaces.
  • Reconcile payments against clinical charges using electronic remittance advice (ERA).

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • 2 years of experience with Availity Essentials or similar payer portals.
  • Current role in healthcare administration.
  • Experience with Revenue Cycle, Payer Portals, or Clearinghouse Management.
  • Based in the United States.

Preferred

  • Background as a Practice Administrator, Medical Office Manager, or Revenue Cycle Specialist.
  • Experience as a Medical Billing Coordinator or Claims Resolution Specialist.
