Position

Bilingual Traditional Chinese STEM Expert

Details

• Type: Contract
• Compensation: $38--$43/hour
• Location: Remote
• Duration: 3--6 months
• Commitment: Minimum 20 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Design and optimize STEM-based prompts in Traditional Chinese and/or English with scientific accuracy and multiple constraints.
• Define and document evaluation standards with comprehensive rubrics for scientific rigor and linguistic clarity.
• Conduct model testing and grading by running prompts through AI models to assess outputs for accuracy and reasoning quality.
• Support benchmarking and quality assurance to ensure consistency and reliability across Traditional Chinese-language benchmarks.
• Collaborate in QA review processes to meet scientific standards and maintain academic tone.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Native-level fluency in Traditional Chinese (written), specifically native to Hong Kong or Taiwan.
• Strong reading and writing proficiency in English.
• BS or BA in Biology, Physics, or Chemistry.
• Familiarity with undergraduate-level biology, physics, or chemistry topics.
• Strong writing and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred

• 2 years of experience in teaching, research, or an applied STEM discipline.
• Experience with academic terminology specific to Hong Kong or Taiwan educational standards.
