Privacy Annotation Specialist

Requirements

Must have:

• Strong background in contract review, quality assurance, eDiscovery, and compliance processes.
• In-depth understanding of Personal Identifiable Information (PII) and data privacy regulations.
• Experience with organizations such as Consilio, Epiq, Relativity, KLDiscovery, or TransPerfect.
• Previous experience in roles such as Paralegal, eDiscovery Specialist, Privacy Analyst, Information Governance Specialist, Compliance Manager, or Legal Document Review Lead.
• Experience in legal document review, litigation support, or managed legal services.
• Proven history of handling sensitive data in high-stakes environments.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to maintain accuracy under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Review and annotate sensitive legal documents, identifying Personal Identifiable Information (PII) and other confidential material.
• Apply contract review and eDiscovery expertise to support high-quality and precise data labeling.
• Validate OCR outputs to protect data integrity within legal investigation workflows.
• Collaborate with compliance and legal technology teams to meet information governance and privacy standards.
• Perform quality assurance checks and audits on document batches to support regulatory compliance.
• Stay up to date on evolving best practices in privacy, digital forensics, and litigation support.
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly and actionably to cross-functional teams.
