Remote Software Developer

Requirements

Must have:

• 3+ years of hands-on software development experience with one or more of these areas: Python, Rust, GoLang, Java, Node.js, Android, iOS, or full-stack development.
• Strong capability in building scalable, reliable, and maintainable software systems.
• Experience working in remote, collaborative, and agile environments.
• Familiarity with modern development tools, version control systems, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving ability and a sharp eye for detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a high standard of clarity and professionalism.
• Self-directed, proactive, and able to work independently in a distributed setting.

Preferred:

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and containerization technologies.
• Background in mentoring or leading small engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable back-end and full-stack applications using Python, Rust, GoLang, Java, or Node.js.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teammates to deliver high-quality software that adapts to changing business needs.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following strong software engineering practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and refine existing codebases to improve performance and reliability.
• Take part in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural planning to support continuous improvement.
• Contribute across the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design through testing and deployment.
• Communicate clearly and thoughtfully in writing and speaking across distributed teams.
