Remote Word & PDF Expert

Requirements

Must have:

• At least 3 years of intensive professional experience using Word and PDF tools
• Advanced capability in document formatting, tracked changes, reviews, and markup
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail
• A masters, PhD, or JD in a relevant discipline such as law, healthcare, academia, public policy, or finance
• Experience supporting Fortune 500 clients or similarly regulated, high-complexity environments
• Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
• Self-driven, adaptable, and comfortable working independently in a remote, deadline-focused setting

Preferred:

• Background in legal, healthcare, academic, government, finance, or real estate operations
• Advanced knowledge of PDF features such as form fields, digital signatures, and secure document handling
• A portfolio showcasing impactful Word and PDF project work

Responsibilities

• Review, edit, and format documents in Word and PDF to meet industry and client-specific standards
• Manage tracked changes, comments, and version control across large and complex files
• Build, edit, and complete dynamic forms and templates for a range of professional use cases
• Extract and consolidate data accurately from Word and PDF documents
• Work with cross-functional teams to deliver precise, timely, and confidential document solutions
• Apply and maintain document workflows for legal, regulatory, and compliance-related projects
• Train and support stakeholders on advanced Word and PDF features and best practices

This is a remote contractor role, available part-time or full-time, with pay ranging from $20 to $65 per hour. We do not require prior AI experience; we value strong domain knowledge and the ability to help us improve how AI systems learn, reason, and perform.
