Lead Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)

Location: Charlotte, NC (Preferred), Irving, TX, or Chandler, AZ Interview Type: Onsite

Role Overview

This is a hands-on Lead SRE position focused on automation and resiliency. You will work across on-prem and public cloud environments, specifically utilizing OpenShift (OCP), Azure, and Google Cloud Platform. AI exposure is required for this role.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of Systems Engineering or Technology Infrastructure/Operations Engineering experience.
• 4+ years of application/middleware production support in high-availability environments, including incident response and root cause analysis.
• 4+ years of hands-on automation and configuration management (Ansible preferred), with strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
• 4+ years of Linux (RHEL) or Windows Server administration.
• 4+ years of Git-based version control practices.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code, hybrid/private cloud platforms, and container-adjacent hosting (OpenShift/Kubernetes).
• Experience implementing SRE practices (reliability metrics, toil reduction, post-incident learning).
• Familiarity with enterprise observability, service health dashboards, and alert engineering.
• Exposure to responsible AI usage in operations.
• Strong cross-functional communication skills in regulated environments.

Job Expectations

• Deliver operational engineering and automation outcomes focused on stability and toil reduction.
• Participate in on-call rotations and 24/7 operational support (including weekends/holidays).
• Adhere to enterprise change management, risk, and compliance processes.
• Continuously improve platform reliability through standardization and documentation.
