Requirements

Must have:

  • Bachelors degree in computer engineering or a closely related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Advanced academic credentials or relevant professional certifications are considered an asset.
  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience in a software development role.
  • Strong proficiency in C# and .NET, including .NET Core.
  • Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
  • Recent experience working in Agile environments, including Scrum or Kanban, with tools like Jira and Confluence.
  • Ability to conduct code reviews, diagnose defects, and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Ability to commute to or relocate near the assigned location.

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or PCF.
  • Experience with event-driven development using RabbitMQ or similar tools.
  • Basic PowerShell scripting for automation.
  • Knowledge of financial services technologies, including FIX messaging, market data APIs, and trade order management systems.
  • Experience with Control-M, SonarQube or Veracode, and Splunk.
  • Strong customer-first mindset, ownership mentality, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development and support of junior-level .NET and Angular applications.
  • Work with C#, .NET Core, and relational databases to build and maintain software solutions.
  • Participate in Agile delivery teams and use Jira and Confluence to support day-to-day development activities.
  • Perform code inspections, troubleshoot bugs, and investigate challenging technical problems.
  • Help design and implement solutions in a cloud-enabled environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members to deliver reliable, customer-focused outcomes.
  • Engage in interview and assessment stages as part of the selection process.
  • Complete a four-week pre-employment training program during onboarding.
