Role Overview

As a Software Engineer on the AI Efficiency team, you will be instrumental in bridging the gap between AI capabilities and business needs. You will design, build, and deploy AI-powered tools and agents to automate workflows, support business teams, and drive organizational efficiency. Your work will directly shape how AI impacts MNTN.

What You'll Do

• Design and build internal AI tools and integrations, including generative AI applications and autonomous AI agents.
• Architect, develop, and maintain AI agents for automating complex workflows and decision-making.
• Evaluate, prototype, and recommend generative AI solutions (LLM APIs, agent frameworks).
• Act as an AI evangelist, conducting workshops and mentoring teammates on generative AI development.
• Define and maintain best practices for prompt engineering, agent orchestration, responsible AI, and cost management.
• Collaborate with product and business stakeholders to identify AI automation opportunities.
• Stay abreast of advancements in generative AI and agentic AI to identify new opportunities.

What You'll Bring

• 3+ years of software engineering experience, with 1+ year in generative AI or LLM application development.
• Experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP).
• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs, vector databases, and agent frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph).
• Experience designing or building AI agents.
• Cloud-native development experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex AI concepts to non-technical audiences.
• A product-minded approach focused on user problems.
• Self-directed and comfortable with ambiguity.
