Junior Developer

Requirements

Must have:

• 0 to 2 years of experience in software development.
• Strong working knowledge of JavaScript, including ES6+.
• Practical SQL experience, including queries, joins, and basic performance tuning.
• Experience with React and/or React Native for building user interfaces.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and how they connect to front-end applications.
• Basic experience with Git or another version control system.
• Solid problem-solving ability and a strong willingness to learn.

Nice to have:

• Exposure to Dart/Flutter, Go, Python, AWS, Azure, CI/CD pipelines, Node.js, microservices, Docker, or infrastructure-as-code.
• Personal projects, GitHub work, or a technical portfolio.
• Candidates who are early in their career and open to growing into backend, cloud, and mobile development.

Role Details:

• Full-time contractor role with the possibility of moving into a permanent position.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support web and mobile applications using JavaScript, React, and/or React Native.
• Write, refine, and optimize SQL queries for both application and reporting needs.
• Assist with debugging, testing, and issue resolution across production systems.
• Work with APIs and backend services as part of feature delivery.
• Participate in code reviews and follow established engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to deliver new functionality.
• Learn from senior developers while gaining practical experience across web, mobile, and cloud environments.
• Contribute to real production systems and help maintain reliable application performance.
