Job Description
Seeking an experienced professional to support manual and automated testing efforts across web, desktop, and mobile applications while helping scale a growing QA function.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Perform manual and automated testing for web, desktop, and mobile applications.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily standups and sprint activities.
- Review Jira stories and requirements to create test plans, test cases, and use cases.
- Execute testing for new features, enhancements, and defect fixes.
- Determine appropriate manual versus automated testing approaches.
- Validate application functionality, business logic, and underlying data.
- Debug issues using available testing and development tools.
- Document and communicate defects with clear reproduction steps.
- Support CI/CD initiatives and more frequent release cycles.
- Manage a dynamic testing workload across multiple projects.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of Quality Assurance experience.
- Strong experience with both manual and automated testing.
- Hands-on experience building automation frameworks and scripts from scratch in Python.
- Experience testing applications built with Python and JavaScript.
- Experience validating data within PostgreSQL environments.
- Ability to create test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and defect documentation.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and BrowserStack.
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
- Experience validating end-to-end workflows and business logic.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional JavaScript development/testing experience.
- Healthcare industry experience.
- Experience supporting rapidly evolving CI/CD environments.
