Job description

About the Company

We're partnering with a fast-scaling, science-first beauty company in the accessible luxury space. They're launching 50--60 products over the next two years and building the infrastructure to reach a $1.5B valuation.

The Role

We're hiring a Senior Packaging Designer to own end-to-end physical packaging design for ~15 new launches in the next 12 months. You'll lead packaging across premium face serums, creams, hair masks, biotin capsules, and more --- spanning skincare, haircare, and beauty-from-within supplements.

This is purely physical product packaging --- not digital assets, Amazon listings, website UI, or social creative (they already have a dedicated e-comm designer for that).

The Opportunity

You'll be the architect of their future brand identity:

  • Generation 1: Where they are today
  • Generation 2: Current transition
  • Generation 3: The elevated, coherent, premium vision you'll create and scale

It's a high-impact individual contributor role with a clear path to building and leading an internal design team as the company grows.

What We're Looking For

  • Senior-level beauty packaging experience (strictly beauty/CPG --- not traditional supplements/nutra)
  • Strong understanding of American CPG: combining information-dense, regulatory-heavy labels with minimalist, premium luxury positioning
  • Comfort with high-velocity iteration, A/B consumer testing, and evidence-based design
  • Ability to maintain brand coherence across radically different formats (jars, bottles, supplement packaging, etc.)

Location & Compensation

  • Primary: New York or Los Angeles
  • Secondary: Rest of US
  • Tertiary: UK / Canada (open for exceptional talent)
  • Compensation: No hard cap --- Our client will calibrate to attract the best senior IC available

If you're a senior beauty packaging designer who thrives on creating sophisticated, shelf-impactful work and wants a foundational, long-term career opportunity, we'd love to see your portfolio.
