Full Stack AI Engineer - Python/Vue/AI

Role Overview

A fast-growing early-stage startup is hiring a Senior Full-Stack AI Engineer for a full-time, fully remote role. PST/MST preferred. The company is building an AI-driven platform that analyzes financial data to uncover hidden cost savings. The tech stack includes Python, TypeScript, Vue/Nuxt, AI/LLMs, and AWS, Kubernetes/Terraform.

This is a hands-on role on a small team (5 engineers) where you'll own features end-to-end across backend, frontend, AI integrations, and infrastructure. They're looking for a senior engineer who can operate independently, enjoys building from scratch, and wants to apply AI in practical, real-world use cases. You'll have a high level of ownership and the chance to help shape a growing product already in use across multiple industries.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5 years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong experience with Python backend development
• Experience with TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks such as Vue or React
• Hands-on experience building and integrating AI/ML or LLM-based solutions
• Experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Terraform, or modern DevOps practices
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience with tools such as LangChain, Pydantic, Claude, or similar AI frameworks
• Prior experience in a startup or 0-1 environment
• Exposure to data-heavy applications or analytics platforms
• Experience building full-stack applications with end-to-end ownership
• Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, or CI/CD pipelines
