About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Platform Engineer / DevOps Engineer to join a rapidly growing enterprise technology team. This role will support large-scale cloud modernization and automation initiatives within a highly regulated environment. This is a contract opportunity focused on building secure, scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS environments while driving automation, CI/CD optimization, and infrastructure standardization.

The team is heavily investing in Infrastructure as Code, cloud governance, security automation, and modernization efforts tied to enterprise-scale initiatives and acquisitions. You'll work alongside senior engineering and security teams to build highly automated, scalable solutions while helping define best practices across the organization. There is strong potential for long-term growth, exposure to enterprise cloud strategy, and ownership over critical platform initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5 years of experience in Platform Engineering or DevOps Engineering
- Strong experience supporting enterprise-scale AWS environments
- Expertise with AWS Identity Management solutions
- Experience integrating AWS IAM with SailPoint and CyberArk
- Strong hands-on experience building Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
- Proficiency with YAML scripting and automation workflows
- Experience with JFrog Artifactory administration and artifact management
- Advanced Terraform experience for Infrastructure as Code provisioning
- Experience automating and maintaining Golden AMIs within AWS
- Strong scripting experience with Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Experience using Wiz for vulnerability remediation and cloud security management
- Strong troubleshooting and workflow optimization skills
- Experience working within regulated industries such as Financial Services, Banking, or Healthcare
Desired Skills & Experience
- Experience supporting mergers and acquisitions within enterprise environments
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification
- Terraform Associate certification
- Azure DevOps Engineer certification
- Experience implementing cloud governance and compliance standards
- Familiarity with enterprise security best practices
- Experience building reusable Terraform modules and automation frameworks
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder communication skills
- Exposure to containerization or Kubernetes environments is a plus
- Experience driving platform engineering best practices and modernization initiatives
