Project Manager - Healthcare (Activations Team)
This is an exciting new fully remote contract position for a Project Manager with a large Healthcare Provider.
About the Role
The Project Manager will support Zoom Voice Contact Center Projects and will be responsible for Contact Center activations. You will be a key resource for the PMO, developing relationships between IT and the organization's multiple customer constituencies, including patients, consumers, providers, clinical staff, administrators, and employees. This position is vital to the organization's efficient operation, ensuring well-managed systems that support financial success and future growth.
Responsibilities
- Define areas of responsibility, including resource allocations, influencing sponsors, and managing work prioritization.
- Develop project plans identifying key issues, problems, approaches, performance metrics, communication plans, and required resources.
- Supervise project resources, which may include Business Analysts, Solution Architects, Design Engineers, Cybersecurity, and QACC.
- Manage all aspects of projects from planning, design, development/implementation, testing, training, deployment, customer adoption, and operational turnover.
- Track assigned budgets and resources for each project.
- Prepare cost estimates and recommendations.
- Monitor expenditures and ensure compliance with all policies and financial stewardship.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in a Related Field.
- 2 years of Project Management experience in a healthcare environment.
- Experience with WBS.
- Experience with digital technology, clinical information systems, and integrating clinical information into the patient, consumer, and provider digital experience.
- Ability to manage business sponsor relationships and navigate political landscapes.
- Understanding of Finance and Accounting principles related to project budgets, purchasing, and financial analysis.
- Negotiation skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, and Word.
- In-depth knowledge of Information Systems (software, hardware, network).
- In-depth knowledge of architectural system components, business processes, and applications to minimize the impact of changes.
- Experience in process improvement.
- Experience with Project Management methodologies and toolsets (waterfall/agile/scrum, planning, issue escalation, problem resolution, conflict and collision management, metrics and reporting, communications, etc.).
- PMP Certification.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Scrum/Agile certification preferred.
- Thorough understanding of Healthcare Business and Care Delivery processes strongly desired.
- Lean Six Sigma principles and/or business process management preferred.
Location & Contract Details
- Remote: Candidates must be currently living in the Pacific Northwest or California.
- Travel: Will include Pacific Northwest and California.
- Contract Duration: 14-Months with potential for longer-term extensions.
- Pay Rate: $70/hr on W2.
