Job Overview

The University of Maine at Presque Isle is seeking a YourPace Admissions Specialist to join a dynamic and innovative team dedicated to providing proactive, student-centered support to adult undergraduate and graduate students in our competency-based education programs. This full-time, remote position plays a key role in guiding prospective students from inquiry to enrollment while supporting a seamless admissions experience.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a passion for helping students achieve their educational goals. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment and collaborating across departments to support student success.

This is a fully remote position with work hours of 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM EST. Occasional travel to the University of Maine at Presque Isle may be required for training or university events.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary: $45,300.32
  • Benefits: Medical, retirement, dental, vision, and tuition waiver programs for employees and dependents. The university also offers wellness programs.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; candidates with an associate's degree combined with related experience in admissions, tutoring, counseling, customer service, or sales will be considered.
  • Access to a stable and reliable internet connection with speeds of at least 25 Mbps.
  • A dedicated, distraction-free workspace capable of accommodating a full workstation setup.
  • Must complete an annual Remote Work Agreement Form.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Related sales or marketing experience.
  • Related admissions and recruitment experience.
