The Role

This position provides a dedicated resource focused on acquiring and growing relationships with new and existing individual brokers, producer groups, and national accounts. This is an independent contributor role with no direct reports, focused on production goals, account trends, and marketing initiatives.

The Regional Sales Director will drive growth in an established, high-performing territory covering the Pacific Northwest. You will be supported by an experienced internal team.

  • Compensation: Competitive base salary of $75,000 + overrides; top performers can earn $250,000+ annually.
  • Location: Fully remote with approximately 40% travel required within the region.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Implement key account strategies, including Gold Sheet, action plans, and strategic marketing plans.
  • Develop existing broker/account relationships and manage recruiting for new ones.
  • Communicate account status regularly to the DBS team, especially during onboarding.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of industry concepts, carriers, and products.
  • Meet or exceed assigned production goals and contribute to agency profitability.

Education and Experience

  • Past sales and relationship management experience in the life insurance industry is required.
  • FINRA Series 6, 7, or 63 is required.
  • Life and Health License required.
  • College degree or higher education preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage a budget and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Salesforce (or similar CRM), and Concur.
  • High focus on quality, customer satisfaction, and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to travel 40-50% of the time.
