Overview

Neos is seeking a Senior MDM Architect (Informatica IDMC) for a long-term contract role. Interviews will be conducted onsite in Austin, TX.

Description of Services

Our client is developing a Master Data Management (MDM) function under the Performance Management & Analytics System (PMAS) on the Enterprise Information Management (EIM) team. This role involves designing and implementing master data solutions for a multi-terabyte MDM implementation to ensure HHS master data is visible, accessible, trusted, and governed.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply MDM principles to improve data quality and cross-program integrations.
• Develop and implement new MDM capabilities using the Informatica IDMC stack.
• Collaborate with EIM staff, IT resources, and business analysts to master critical agency data, identity resolution, and reference data.
• Develop ETL processes for HHS system data using Oracle, Snowflake, and Informatica.
• Manage metadata loads and monitor project lifecycles using agile methods.
• Ensure high-quality builds compliant with IT coding and security standards.

Strategic Liaison and AI Integration

• Translate project findings into non-technical language for leadership.
• Develop and refine AI prompts to synthesize master data.
• Validate AI outputs to mitigate hallucinations and ensure compliance.
• Troubleshoot data inconsistencies in collaboration with engineering and program teams.

Candidate Skills and Qualifications

• 8 years: Advanced Informatica and ETL developer skills.
• 8 years: Enterprise Information Management best practices.
• 8 years: Designing and implementing MDM solutions.
• 8 years: Designing and implementing Informatica PowerCenter custom solutions.
• 8 years: Experience with Erwin and ERStudio or equivalent tools.
• 8 years: Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• 8 years: Proven ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
• 8 years: Strong technical writing skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5 years: Oracle DBA experience.
• 5 years: Installing and configuring Informatica Metadata Manager architecture.
• 5 years: Architecting MDM solutions.
• 4 years: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or equivalent.
