About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Remote Employment Defense Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in labor and employment law, with proven success in litigation, negotiation, and legal counseling. Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and be admitted to the state bar in good standing. A minimum of five years of experience specializing in employment defense law is required, with a demonstrated track record of successful litigation and client advocacy. Candidates should have extensive knowledge of employment laws, including federal, state, and local regulations, as well as experience with legal discovery, negotiations, depositions, and mediations. Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential, along with strong analytical abilities, organizational skills, and the capacity to manage multiple cases efficiently. Professional ethics, integrity, and a commitment to teamwork are fundamental qualities for this role.
Responsibilities
The Employment Defense Attorney will be responsible for representing and defending clients in employment-related litigation before courts, administrative agencies, and arbitration panels. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive legal research to inform case strategies.
