About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our R&D Platforms team. This role is pivotal in designing, prototyping, and building modern platform capabilities that support our mission-critical systems. The successful candidate will work remotely within the United States and participate in periodic engineering collaboration sessions, which may include extended working periods. In this position, you will collaborate directly with experienced technical leaders to translate innovative ideas into functional software solutions. Your responsibilities will span developing full-stack applications, backend services, and distributed systems, utilizing modern cloud-native technologies. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in full-stack software development, with experience across multiple technical domains. Key qualifications include:

• Proven experience in building and maintaining full-stack software systems.
• Extensive backend development experience using Python, particularly with frameworks such as FastAPI.
• Hands-on experience with backend systems development using Go.
• Proficiency in frontend development utilizing React and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Experience deploying applications within containerized environments using Docker and managing orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture, APIs, and distributed systems design.
• Ability to work independently, solve complex technical problems, and deliver working software efficiently.
• Comfort operating in environments where engineers are expected to take ownership of technical outcomes.
• Experience with modern development tooling and workflows, including AI-assisted development tools is a plus.
• U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain a U.S. government security clearance are required.
