About The Role
GrabJobs is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sr. Java/ReactJS Developer to join our expanding team. This position offers a unique opportunity to work remotely from your home office while supporting critical federal projects aligned with U.S. government standards. The successful candidate will play a vital role in developing and maintaining our Developer Portal, which serves as a comprehensive resource for API documentation, usage guides, and access workflows. The role requires a deep understanding of front-end and back-end development, enterprise security protocols, and accessibility standards to ensure the portal is robust, user-friendly, and compliant with federal regulations. The position operates on Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours and necessitates U.S. citizenship along with an active IRS Minimum Background Investigation (MBI).
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in ReactJS development within an enterprise or federal environment.
- Proficiency in Java with experience in Spring Boot for API development and integration.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems, including SSO, OAuth2, SAML, OIDC, and RBAC.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Section 508 and WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards for web applications.
- Active IRS Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) clearance is required.
- Strong understanding of security protocols, web accessibility, and responsive design principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain the Developer Portal's front-end interface, including a searchable API catalog, documentation display, usage guides, and access request workflows.
- Ensure the portal's UI is responsive, Section 508-compliant, and accessible across various devices and browsers.
- Integrate the portal front-end with enterprise IAM systems, ensuring secure and seamless authentication and authorization processes.
- Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate portal APIs and automation workflows built by KP2.
- Perform comprehensive testing, including usability, functional, regression, and security validation, to guarantee portal reliability and compliance.
- Conduct accessibility validation in accordance with WCAG 2.1 standards and address any identified issues prior to government acceptance.
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, and team meetings to ensure high-quality deliverables and adherence to project timelines.
