Job description

About Us

We are a team of growth leads, creatives, and data scientists who help unlock rapid, measurable growth for some of the world's category-defining brands. We bring together growth marketing, content, and creative expertise into a single, cohesive team, augmented with robust data analytics and proprietary AI technology. We are headquartered in NYC and support our partners across the globe. Our client portfolio spans VC-backed startups, scale-ups, and Fortune 500 brands, including the likes of Nike, Oura, Amazon, Spring Health, TikTok, Intuit, P&G, and many more. We have been delivering what others only promise since 2016, so why settle for good enough if you can be up to NoGood!

The Opportunity

This is an Associate Social Video Creator position for someone serious about their craft and ready to level up professionally. You'll create social video content for client accounts while being mentored by senior creators, developing your strategic eye, and refining your production skills.

This is NOT an influencer role or a "just post content" position. You'll work on client accounts where strategy, brand alignment, and performance matter. You'll learn to think like a strategist while executing like a professional.

This role is structured as a 60-day contract-to-hire position. During the initial 60-day period, you would join the team in a contract capacity, allowing both you and the company to evaluate fit, performance expectations, and long-term alignment. It's designed to give you meaningful exposure to the role, team dynamics, and day-to-day responsibilities, while also giving us the opportunity to see how you operate in the position. At the end of the 60 days, assuming mutual interest and strong performance, the intention is to transition the role into a full-time, permanent position.

What You'll Do

Video Creation

  • Create short-form social video (TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn) end-to-end: concept → scripting → filming → editing → iteration.
  • Appear on-camera as the face of content: host, present, guide viewers through concepts, or deliver direct-to-camera storytelling for client brands.
  • Produce long-form video content (5-20 min YouTube videos, executive series, educational content).
  • Mine long-form content for social moments: identify compelling clips and adapt them for platform-specific formats.
  • Develop multi-format content series that work across both long-form and short-form.
  • Execute with high production value: strong pacing, composition, sound design, and storytelling across all formats.
  • Follow creative briefs while bringing your own creative POV.

Learning & Strategy Development

  • Study performance data to understand what makes content work.
  • Learn to balance creativity with business objectives.
  • Participate in content planning and strategy discussions.
  • Develop range across different brand voices and styles.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with strategists who guide content direction.
  • Learn from senior creators through weekly feedback sessions.
  • Apply constructive feedback to continuously improve quality.

What You Have

Required:

  • 1-3 years creating social video content (includes internships, freelance, or high-quality personal projects).
  • Comfortable on-camera: You can appear in videos naturally and authentically, are an effective communicator, and are willing to be the face of content.
  • You edit your own work: Proficient in Premiere Pro or Final Cut.
  • Platform fluency: Native understanding of how TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube work.
  • Production fundamentals: Good eye for composition, pacing, hooks, and storytelling.
  • Coachability: Hungry to learn, open to feedback, committed to improvement.
  • Reliability: Consistent quality output, meets deadlines, proactive communication.

What You'll Learn

Strategic Thinking

  • Review performance data to identify what's working and why.
  • Spot competitive gaps and recommend content opportunities.
  • Build repeatable content frameworks that scale across clients.
  • Translate business objectives into compelling creative concepts.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Collaborate with external flex creators to execute your vision.
  • Partner with strategists to align content with growth goals.
  • Serve as quality gatekeeper before client delivery.
