Role Overview
The Industrial Pork Sales Account Manager drives revenue growth by maintaining and expanding our B2B client portfolio. Working fully remotely, you will secure high-volume contracts and purchasing agreements for fresh and further processed pork items with food manufacturers, processors, and industrial accounts. This role supports our strategic operations based out of Claremont, New Hampshire and Saint-Bernard, Quebec, requiring deep knowledge of North American pork markets, primal cuts, and value-added processing.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage Pork Portfolio: Sell a comprehensive product line including higher attribute fresh and frozen pork primals, sub-primals, by-products, and further processed/value-added pork items.
- Support Key Locations: Coordinate closely with production, corporate, and logistical hubs located in Claremont, NH and Saint-Bernard, QC.
- Drive Volume: Negotiate high-volume bulk pork contracts, purchasing agreements, and spot buy opportunities to meet monthly sales and margin targets.
- Monitor Markets: Track USDA pork cutout values, livestock reports, and market trends to optimize pricing strategies from your home office.
- Collaborate Logistics: Coordinate with cross-border plant production and supply chain teams to ensure seamless delivery of raw materials.
- Resolve Issues: Address client product specifications, quality concerns, credit terms, and cold-chain logistical issues quickly.
