Cloud Engineer / DevOps Engineer (Golang, GCP & Terraform) -- Remote (East Coast USA)
Ocho People are partnering with a cutting-edge Series A cloud security company that's expanding its U.S. engineering team.
This role is 100% remote (anywhere on the US East Coast) and is virtually customer-facing, working closely with solution architects and internal teams to support customer deployments and cloud environments. No on-site travel required.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain cloud-native infrastructure and services using Golang
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Deploy, operate, and optimize workloads in Google Cloud Platform (GCP**)
- Build automation, tooling, and CI/CD pipelines to improve reliability and developer experience
- Collaborate remotely with solution architects to support customer cloud deployments
- Support and scale production environments running high-availability, distributed systems
What We're Looking For
- Strong experience with Golang (tooling, automation, or services)
- Hands-on experience with GCP (GKE, Compute Engine, IAM, VPC, Cloud Storage, etc.)
- Solid experience with Terraform in production environments
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, and security
- Experience working in DevOps or platform engineering roles
- Comfortable in a remote, customer-facing engineering role
Nice to Have
- CI/CD tooling (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Multi-cloud experience (AWS or Azure)
- Experience supporting customer deployments or SaaS platforms
